Account Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Channel Account Manager with a strong background and experience in an I.T. Distribution environment. You will be at the forefront of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective partnering development plan and channel sales strategy across your assigned accounts.


  • Manage a set of assigned business partner accounts for channel development and sales related activities.
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels within partners’ organizations and ability to manage effective communications with the sales and technical teams as well as becoming the liaison with their Senior Management Teams.
  • Identify and create new sales opportunities with the set of assigned business partners as well as engaging directly with their customers. We expect you to be thorough in handling the entire sales cycle of partner-led opportunities from creating value propositions, quotations, RFPs or RFIs as well as managing any demos, POCs, deal negotiations, payment terms and collections.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and lead product awareness and trainings within partner organizations to ensure our products and solutions are being positioned effectively in the market by these partners.
  • Carry Sales Targets and be responsible for achieving such targets through Channel Activities and Customer Engagements.


  • Possess at least SPM/STPM/Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Business Studies/Administration/Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity with the relevant IT industry.
  • Candidates with experiences or knowledge in selling Cloud Computing, Data Management, and I.T. Infrastructure Security will be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Candidates with great contacts in the IT industry will be advantageous.
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good understanding of the IT industry and of the latest trends in Technology.
  • Ambitious, positive, and ability to manage challenges are all important aspects in the role.
  • Independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
